Rewindy

Introducing Rewindy - How it works?

Getting an overview of your stories

After you've logged in, the front page displays the stories you've created and other people's stories you follow. There are also few public stories handpicked by the staff to give you inspiration. Only public stories that creator has wanted to be promoted can end up in the staff picks.

Creating your own story

Decide on the story you want to tell. Travel, party, hobby or family are common themes. Start by clicking "Create story". Upload few photos from your computer or import photos from the web.

Tell what happened behind the scenes

Editor view lets you name the story, reorder photos and tell the story. A story can highlight thoughts, emotions, relationships and can go into history or speculate about the future. Tell what's happening in each photo like you would when showing it to someone. There are two text fields, the heading and the speech bubble.

The beautiful story format is a delight for the viewer

The service presents your photos and story in a personal and beautiful format. It highlights your voice as the storyteller, and when backed with your best photos, the combination is powerful.

Share your stories

All created stories are private by default. The link to the story acts as the secure password. Only people you share the link with, have access to your story. You decide who you want to share the story with and how you share the link. Email is most common for private sharing to a few friends whereas Facebook, Twitter and blogs are the most common for more public sharing. Why not give a story to some friends today?

Actions available for each story

Commenting of the story pages, as well as downloading the image file, is available to viewers who have logged in. The viewers can also hide the texts and effects to see only the photo. The creator of a story is the only who can edit it.

Add an avatar image to finalize your story

Your avatar image makes the story more personal as it is shown on each story page, and it “tells the story”. Upload the image in user settings.
